About
I am a web and graphic designer and web developer who has been toying with the web since 1996. At that time it was just a hobby, but now it has become a passion for me.
I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelors Degree in Digital Technology and Culture, focusing in Multimedia Authoring. DTC is a relatively new degree which covers not only graphic and web design, but user interaction and how cultures interact with various mediums, including web and print media, video, and audio. I have also earned my Technical Writing Certificate, which covers business and professional writing skills necessary in today’s business world.
More recently, I have worked for Washington State University as a web and graphic designer and Local Marketers as a web designer and developer. I have been in charge of designs encompassing over 10,000 clients and advertisements which have been seen across the WSU campus. My favorite thing about design and development is the problem-solving that takes place with each project and the unique challenges presented by every design. I also enjoy trying out the newest technologies such has HTML5 and CSS3 and the different ways they allow us to present information via the web.
I live in Seattle just a few blocks from the Space Needle. I am a staff member of a local car club, and I love the Northwest for the great drives available. I also like to take my Scottish Terrier to Marymoor Park and camping in the Cascades.
